A Wild Awakening.
Brought together by their shared experiences of perimenopause, Michelle and Lou quickly discovered they had more in common than mood swings and brain fog. They both share a deep passion for connection, storytelling, and holding space for others.
Their podcast was born from this shared love of conversation, curiosity, and community. What started as a simple idea – talking openly about their experiences – has blossomed into rich, meaningful discussions with guests from all walks of life.
What’s In a Name?
The podcast was born from a shared love of conversation, curiosity, and community. What started as simply talking about their experiences, has blossomed into rich, meaningful discussions with guests from all walks of life. Through laughter, honesty, and deep listening, Michelle and Lou are creating a space where stories can be told, voices can be amplified, and connections can be made.
Wild Stories
We share the real, messy, surprising and sometimes downright wild stories that make us human. The experiences that shape us, challenge us and remind us we’re not alone.
Wise Women
We talk to women with stories, experience, perspectives and hard-won wisdom to share. Women who have learned, questioned, changed and are still figuring things out.
Curious Conversations
We have honest, thoughtful conversations about the things that matter. We draw on experience, curiosity and the wisdom that comes from living, rather than pretending we have all the answers.

Michelle Haggerty-Wood
Facilitator & StorytellerAs a passionate playwright and scriptwriter, I bring my deep love for storytelling to Wild, Wise & Curious. I believe storytelling is at the heart of how we learn, grow, heal, and connect. In ancient communities, stories were how wisdom, knowledge, and experiences were shared, creating a sense of belonging and connection. Today, in our fast-paced, digital world, in-person connection is more important than ever. Shared stories and experiences are vital in helping us heal and grow. I love creating supportive spaces where we, as women, can rediscover our voices, share experiences, and reclaim our sense of self. Whether I’m holding space for women’s circles, guiding journaling, or reflection, I’m here to offer support and encourage deep connection with our inner wisdom and strength.
Lou Baker
Holistic Practitioner & PsychologyI am a Clinical Aromatherapist, Shibashi Qigong instructor, Reiki practitioner and Health & Wellbeing Coach, with a background in psychology and a deep appreciation for community, connection and shared experiences. I am also studying an MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy, continuing my lifelong curiosity about people, relationships and what helps us navigate life. My work brings together movement, conversation, wellbeing and lived experience, creating welcoming spaces where people can share their stories, exchange wisdom and explore what matters to them. Whether through Qigong, coaching, conversation or simply being alongside others, I am interested in finding meaningful, accessible ways to support wellbeing and connection.

In-Person Events
Alongside the podcast, we offer person-centred circles – warm, welcoming spaces designed to foster connection, self-expression, and deep listening. Whether exploring life transitions, personal growth, or shared experiences, our circles provide a safe and supportive environment where every voice matters. Rooted in the belief that storytelling is a powerful tool for healing and belonging, we invite you to step into a space of authenticity, community, and shared wisdom.
Come as you are, bring your story, and be part of a circle where you are truly heard.

Producing independent, uncensored conversations about midlife takes time, microphones, and a whole lot of herbal tea (or oat flat whites). If our episodes have brought you laughter or a sigh of relief, you can help keep the mics on.
